Lillie's got moves

Lillie really enjoys music. We aren't sure where this swinging side-to-side kind of move came from but we're pretty sure it's her version of dancing. She often gets excited at things, but this is one of the more obvious times. So cute!

It's magic

9 months continued...

A few posts back I mentioned that Lillie had a 9 month check up, but I forgot to give her stats from the visit.

Weight: 19 pounds 4 ounces, 54th percentile
Height: 28 1/2 inches, 77th percentile

Cheerio

We introduced Lillie to cheerios recently and she really loves them. Sometimes I feel like that's all I feed her! Not exactly, but it's sure a great little distraction while I am preparing meals.

What's for dinner, Mom?

Whenever we open the fridge door Lil is sure to be there. She pulls up on the bottom shelf and shuffles everything around to find something fun to play with.

9 months

Lillie turned 9 months old on Easter Sunday.



At 9 months, Lillie:

-is crawling like a maniac. Actually, one of our nicknames for her is "The Maniac". That's not such a flattering nickname for a precious baby girl but it sums up her distinct little personality quite well. I guess I'll have to write a post on all of her nicknames later.

-is cruising around a few steps at a time.

-babbles quite a bit. She tends to say "dadada" when she's happy and "maaaamaaamaaa" (and head towards me) when she's upset.

-LOVES people. She is sometimes shy and shrugs her shoulders when she first meets someone, but quickly warms up.

-LOVES kissing people. She kisses me, she kisses John, she kisses little girls at church. You get the point, this kid has a lot of love!

-LOVES music and dances when she hears it. She enjoys her musical toys and listening to John practice his classical guitar.
